2024.02.27 [Screw Rescue Report] Old Radio Cassette Player

This is a Screw Rescue Report from a customer in Sada-cho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, in the Chugoku region of Japan.

★Issue Description:

The customer reported trouble with the tape recorder recorder of an old radio cassette player (Panasonic RX-DS30). They attempted to open the back cover to repair it but encountered difficulty as all five screws on the back were tightly fastened and could not be removed. They reached out for assistance on how to remove these screws.

★Work Log:

Upon receiving the device, our team used a fiber scope camera to check the screws. The Screw Rescue Team initiated the operation, successfully rescuing all the recessed screws using the powerful magnetic Screw Catcher (Part No: DR-19).

★Customer Appreciation:

The customer expressed gratitude, stating, "I was saved. I had given up in the past when trying to repair another used radio cassette player because it wouldn't open. Thank you very much for your prompt assistance this time!" πŸ¦–
