2024.02.22[Screw Rescue Report] Motorcycle Front Fork Screw

This is a Screw Rescue Report of a customer in Aihara-cho, Machida City, Tokyo.

★ Issue Description:

"The screw on the motorcycle's front fork wouldn't budge at all, and I was in trouble. I tried using a screw extractor from another company to remove the screw, I could make a hole, but the spiral wasn't useful at all. After all, I could not extract the screw. I don't know how to remove this screw, so I contacted you."

★ Work Log:

2024.02.15 [Screw Rescue Report] Smart Key Screw Issue

This is a Screw Rescue Report from a customer residing in Osaka, Japan.

★Issue Details:

The customer faced a problem with the smart key (Clavis authentication key). The screw on the battery box cover became stripped, making it impossible to remove. Unable to figure out how to deal with this, they contacted us for assistance.

★Work Log:

As the customer lives nearby our location, we adjusted the schedule for them to bring in the device. The Screw Rescue Team initiated the operation. By using a trick of Neji-Mogura Middle Type DBZ-410, or Socket Screw Extractor DBZ-410 the team successfully rescued the smart key.

2024.02.13 [Screw Rescue Report] Motorcycle Front Fork Bolt

This is a Screw Rescue Report from a customer in Mizuho-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, in the Chubu region of Japan.

★ Issue Description:

"The two hexagon socket screws at the bottom of the motorcycle (BMWR80) front fork were stripped. Despite using chemicals from another company for removing screws, we couldn't loosen them. The screws have low-profile heads, making it easy to strip due to the shallow insertion of the wrench. Unsure of how to proceed, the customer sought advice and assistance."

★ Work Log:

Based on the damaged screws photos, a prototype of the Neji-Mogura (So called the Socket Screw Extracrtor) was sent to the customer.

"When attempting to replace the door stabilizer of a Toyota vehicle and remove the original door striker, the Torx screw became stripped. Unsure of how to remove this screw, the customer contacted us for assistance."
