2023/06/22 [Screw Rescue Report] Installation of Steps on Jeep Wrangler

Received a screw SOS of Jeep Wrangler from Fukushima Prefecture, Tohoku region, Japan.

"While working on attaching steps to the exterior hinge of the door, I ended up breaking the screw head."

2023.06.22 [Screw Rescue Report] A broken screw on the airsoft gun

 Received SOS for airsoft gun screw.

During the disassembly of the airsoft gun, the head of a precision screw got broken. Despite trying various tools, it wouldn't turn, and an attempt to drill the head off, as found online, didn't succeed either...

The model brought in was Tokyo Marui's Mk18 Mod.1. The screw that secures the stock pipe's cord cover was stripped and couldn't be removed.

Thanks to the efforts of the screw-loving dinosaur, Urus, and a secret tool being developed, the screw was successfully rescued.

 Received a SOS from a Jeep Wrangler's screw SOS in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

"The screw heads on the Wrangler's door hinges have broken, and I can't remove them. The screws are quite tight. I went to a home center, but couldn't find any suitable tools."

2023.06.21 [Screw Rescue Report] CT125 Honda Hunter Cub Motorcycle

 Received a screw SOS for a motorcycle (Honda Hunter Cub) from Meguro-ku, Tokyo.

"I needed to remove four hex socket screws used to fix the front stay cover in order to install an aftermarket center carrier on my CT125. However, while loosening them, I accidentally stripped one of the screws. The screw is located deep inside the cover, and there is no space to insert pliers or any other tools."

2023.06.20 [Screw Rescue Report] Stripped hexagon screws on maxi scooter

 Received a Maxi scooter screw SOS from Osaka City.

"I bought a used Maxi scooter and while disassembling the interior under the seat for maintenance, I tried to unscrew four hexagon socket screws using a hex key, but they seemed stuck completely..."

We arranged a schedule for him to visit our office.

2023.06.19 [Screwl Rescue Report] Nintendo Switch Lite

 Receiving an SOS about screw trouble with the Nintendo Switch Lite from Minato Ward, Tokyo.

"When I was replacing the third-party aluminum casing of the Nintendo Switch Lite, I accidentally broke one of the screws. Is it possible to remove the broken screw? The casing itself is a rare item that is difficult to obtain, and I am willing to pay for the rescue of the screw if necessary."

Receiving the request, the Screw Rescue Team promptly started the operation.

Received an SOS about a Torx screw on a car door striker from Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, located in the central part of Japan.

"I encountered the same situation as the door stabilizer case of the Screw Rescue case studies. Please advise me."
