2023.06.10 [Screw Rescue Report] A stripped screw on HILUX's cargo bed

Received an SOS from Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, reporting that the screws on a Hilux's cargo bed had stripped.

2023.06.09 [Screw Rescue Report] A stripped screw on the cover of MacBook Pro

 Receiving SOS about a stripped screw on the back cover of a MacBook Pro.

"The screw on the back cover is completely stripped, and I can't remove it. I tried using a file to carve a new groove, but it wasn't deep enough, and the screwdriver doesn't work at all. I would appreciate some advice."

2023.06.08[Screw Rescue Report] Motorcycle Footstep

 We received an SOS regarding a stripped hex socket screw on a motorcycle's footstep from HABIKINO City, Osaka Prefecture, located in western Japan.

"The hex socket screw on the footstep is stripped and I can't remove it. Also, it's heavily rusted. The frame is aluminum, but the screw is iron, so it might have been electrolytically bonded. And screws seemed to thread-locking fluid is applied."

2023.06.02 [Screw Rescue Report] Stripped screw on the tailgate of HILUX

 Received an SOS message from Osaka City in western Japan, saying that the screws on the tailgate of a Hilux have been stripped.

"I tried to take it for repairs, but I was told it would be quite an extensive job... While searching for the method, I came across a YouTube video on removing Hilux screws and discovered 'The Screw Rescue Team.' "

After adjusting the schedule, we arranged for him to visit our company.

2023.06.01 [Screw Rescue Report] A broken bolt for road bike

Received a road cycle screw SOS from Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture in central Japan.

"The clamp bolt for the integral seat of my road bike broke off during tightening and became stuck."

"I contacted the French manufacturer of it to check their stock, but was told that they do not have any clamps in stock and have no plans to re-produce parts for older models."

The broken bolt that was sent to us was a special type that changes pitch from the middle.
