[Screw Rescue Report] Shimano Antares Baitcasting Reel Screws

This is a Screw Rescue Report from a customer in Inba District, Chiba Prefecture, Kanto Region, Japan.

★Issue Description:

"I purchased a used baitcasting reel (SHIMANO 19 Antares) for bass fishing and used it for a while. When I tried to disassemble it for cleaning, I found that the previous owner had stripped two screws, making it impossible for me to remove them. I've heard that if there are signs of disassembling by the owner, the manufacturer may not provide support. I appreciate your advice on this matter."

★Work Log:

We promptly received the physical item and the Screw Rescue Team initiated the operation.

One screw was successfully rescued using a trick of the Nejisaurus Mogura Middle Type  DBZ-415 (So called Socket Screw Extractor).

The other screw was saved through the combination technique of the Super Short Type Mogura DBZ-315 and the Mini Offset Ratchet DR-27.

★Customer Appreciation:

"I appreciate your quick response amidst your busy schedule. I am truly grateful that both screws were successfully removed." The customer shared this delightful feedback πŸ¦–
