This is a Screw Rescue Report from a customer in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, Kanto region of Japan.
★Issue Description:
"The pins (TTP982) on the spikes for my child's track and field shoes (ASICS Cosmo Racer MD2) were so hard that I couldn't remove them, and after doing it over and over again, the corners became rounded. I had just replaced the old pins with new ones, There may have been some rust, but...the cause may not have been rust, but the fact that the pins were a little crooked. I would like you to teach me how to remove it.
★Work log
The shoes were immediately sent to us, and the Screw Rescue Team began the operation.
It was quite stuck, but we solved it easily with Neji-saurus PZ-65 (So called Screw Removal Locking Pliers) that firmly grip and don't let go.
★Customer Appreciation
"Thank you for letting me know that you were able to loosen the spike pin safely! The one I have now is an old pin, so I will replace it with a new one and be careful not to cause the same thing to happen again.'' We received a grateful message.🦖
