We received a screw SOS for assistive devices from Nishinomiya City in Hyogo Prefecture, Kansai region, Japan.
"The bolt that was holding in place got stripped, and I tried using another company's screw removal bit, but it didn't work, and I'm stuck unable to remove the bolt."
This part is for a transfer machine used with wheelchairs and beds, and it seems that the caregiving person needs it urgently. We asked them to send it to us urgently.
Upon checking, it appears that using another company's screw-removal tool only worsened the situation.

The Screw Rescue Team was able to remove the damaged bolt and repair the threads, and we have sent the part back to them.
