We received an SOS from an individual in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, in the Kanto region of Japan, regarding the screws on his airsoft gun slider parts.
"The small screws have been heavily coated with threadlocker, making them impossible to remove. I tried using a drill to remove the screw heads, but it seems the threads are also tightly locked, and it won't budge. I even tried heating the screws with solder, but it didn't have much effect. I'm not sure about the screw size, but these are countersunk screws."
A total of three locations are damaged, and the situation is quite dire.
In the end, we were able to remove all the screws using a secret technique with the Socket Screw Extractor DBZ-400 series (Neji Mogura) and a new type of drill and tap currently under development.
